Rumors suggest that Xiaomi will launch a gamer smartphone in 2018. According to PhoneRadar information, the cell phone differential will be an “aeronautical” cooling technology. Apparatus will be developed by the company’s new subsidiary.
A Gamer Smartphone coming from a Chinese manufacturer makes a lot of sense. In that country, mobile games have another dimension and are taken much more seriously. We can see this through the mobile versions of PUBG, Arena of Valor, and other games.
In 2017, Xiaomi acquired 22% of Black Shark, a company that manufactures gamers items such as Headsets. The deal came in after information was released that the subsidiary would also manufacture smartphones.
According to the Chinese government website, the first Black Shark smartphone will come with a flagship processor and an “aeronautics” class cooling system. It is even mentioned that the smartphone will have built-in DSP graphics, but we have no information on that.
For now there is no further information about Xiaomi’s gamer cell phone. But if it’s even released in 2018, it will most likely bring a 845 Snapdragon processor and plenty of storage space.
In terms of smartphone gamers, Ni Fei, CEO of the manufacturer of Nubia Technology, recently announced on February 1 that Nubia plans to develop a smartphone focused on gaming. US-based game accessories manufacturer Razer also launched a gaming-oriented smartphone in November 2017, the Razer Phone .
