PUBG, NieR: Automata, Super Mario Odyssey, Horizon: Zero Dawn and Zelda will compete for the Game of the Year award.
The recognition of the merit of video games does not stop: although The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has already been crowned as game of the year during the past The Game Awards , this time the Game Developers Choice Award takes center stage to unveil their favorite games of 2017.
The celebration of the event will take place on March 21, 2018 , and will divide its awards into ten different categories. The game candidates of the year? Again we find previously awarded games such as Zelda, Super Mario Odyssey , NieR: Automata , Horizon: Zero Dawn and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds .
