Tencent games released by surprise a “Light” version of PUBG Mobile. The Lite version of the game promises great compatibility with Android devices. But with slightly reduced gameplay. PUBG Mobile focuses on weak smartphones with up to 1GB of RAM.
PUBG Mobile Lite is not the same as PUBG Mobile. The game features only a 40-player mode and a 2x2km map. For comparison purposes, the larger version supports 100 players at once and a map with 8x8km.
For the most knowledgeable, this is NOT Timi’s PUBG Mobile, it’s the same Google Play (LightSpeed) PUBG, but with a smaller map, simpler graphics, and better players.
It seems that Tencent looks at the success of Free Fire in certain countries (including Brazil). The game is compatible with many smartphones with 1 GB of RAM.
Was this the second attempt by Tencent to file a successful Battle Royale on weaker handsets? The company has already tried something like Crossfire Legends.
The game is not yet available on Google Play in Brazil.
