The mobile version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds reached first place in downloads in more than 100 countries. The feat happened less than a week after the release of PUBG Mobile in the West. The mobile version of the popular Battle Royale title hit the App Store and Google Play Store on March 19th. The game is now available in Brazil and is free to download and play.
PUBG Mobile is the mobile version with the full PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds experience. Players were impressed by the intuitive integration of the title in the cell phone, which even uses Unreal Engine 4 .
The PUBG Corporation and Tencent have worked together to create the authentic experience of PUBG in one of the most accessible platforms on the market. Presenting an optimized experience for all players remains a priority for developers as they continue to work on the mobile version of the popular Battle Royale to improve it more and more.
It is worth remembering that this is the first of two games made by the partnership. Depending on acceptance, Tencent and PUBG Corporation may bring the lightest title (Army Attack) produced by Timi Studios to the West as well. This version is much lighter, but looks as beautiful as the game released this week, and works easily on smartphones with only 2 GB of RAM.
Is your Android phone incompatible? Get to know the Timi Studios version and make noise with Tencent so she can also bring PUBG Army Attack to the West.
