February 27 is a special date for fans of Pokémon, as it marks the anniversary of the launch of the first game in 1996. This year, the party also comes in the form of various content on mobile devices and even on the speakers intelligent
It was thanks to the Pokémon GO that the franchise once again gained space in the most modern mobile technologies, and of course, the augmented reality game would not miss out on the celebrations either.
So, if you’re a fan of the world’s most beloved little monsters, check out how you can celebrate:
Now you can add Pokémon to your snaps. The original creatures of the franchise are in Snapchat, among them Bulbasaur, which will be available tomorrow, on the 27th.
Then the app will unlock the Charmander and then the Squirtle. This will work just like any other Snapchat lens.
Owners of an Alexa or Google Home device can enable the new Pikachu Talk feature, which will let fans chat with the most famous Pokémon of all. Just ask questions and get answers to the classic electric little monster voice.
Unfortunately, this is not available everywhere. Alexa users in most countries will have access to the feature, but Google Homeowners outside the US are out of luck.
In the game, you can pick up the Pikachu with the party hat, along with the Stardust triple for each capture. This version of the little monster has appeared a few other times and has a special movement, which is also passed to the Raichu evolution.
We have seen this little creature with other commemorative hats, like the Christmas cap. Any Pikachu you find wandering the streets will have the accessory, which will stay in it forever.
But stay tuned, because this special edition will be available for a short time, starting today, March 26th, until March 6th.
