Light a Way is a game that appeared there in the pre-registration tab of GooglePlay. The game was released today on Android. The game follows the genre “clicker”, where the user has as main interaction, stay touching several times on the screen.
The visual arts are very beautiful. But the game is just that, a clicker/tapping game where the player touches infinitely on the screen to kill monsters.
In the story of Light a Way, darkness dominated the world. A little girl gets a magic staff of a cute little creature. Helped by a fairy, she now has a mission to bring light to the world.
The gameplay focuses on the evolution of the protagonist and her allies. Like other games of the genre, this is a game with zero of challenge, since most of the enemies do not even attack.
Light a Way follows the same formula as He-Man Tappers of Grayskull, Juggernaut Champions and Tap Titans. Games where you just touch the screen until you have Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI).
It’s something that makes us a bit sad, because I expected more from the game. Light a Way received a nice dose of internal hype on Google Play itself. The store literally recommended the game to half a million people.
At least, Light a Way is a good pastime. The game is lightweight and does not require an internet connection.
