Damn it! Ever wondered if Blizzard announces a World of Warcraft with Pokémon GO gameplay at Blizzcon. It seems like this almost happened. According to the ComicBook site, with information from Kotaku, Blizzard is working on several mobile titles. One of them is a Warcraft game with geolocation and Augmented reality.
While tasting a little of the series of articles that Kotaku is doing on Diablo, some developers have let slip that they are working on other projects related to mobile.
Excerpt from the Kotaku article.
“The natural extension of this has led one of Blizzard’s incubation teams to develop a Warcraft version of Pokemon GO, which is in development for smartphones now . ” “It certainly occurred to Blizzard boss that this derivative of Warcraft could be a tremendous revenue generator, but the game is also in production because chief designer Cory Stockton (formerly of World of Warcraft) is a big fan of Pokémon.”
Wow. Have you thought about announcing this in full Blizzcon 2018? I can only remember the most epic moment of Blizzcon of 2018, when Blizzard did the shit to announce a Diablo that looks more like a remaster of a game of NetEase.
