After PUBG, now it’s time for Epic Games to make a great announcement: Fornite will be released for Android and iOS phones and tablets. It will not be a lower version, it is the same game that exists on consoles and PC. The opening for registration in the beta test begins on Monday (12) and will contemplate initially the guys who own iPhone and iPad.
According to the official announcement the minimum device to run the game will be an iPhone 6S, iPhone, SE, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 4 and above.
The Epic Games page further describes that the game will support cross-play with other platforms such as PCs and consoles. That’s saying that it will be possible to play against a player who is on a Playstation 4, for example. Players’ accounts will be the same on all platforms except Xbox One.
According to Epic Games, the game will be the same as the consoles and PC, with the same amount of content.
And the version of Fortnite for Android?
The post made it clear that the Android version is in the plans, but did not say what the minimum requirements will be. It may be released after the iPhone and iPad version.
Surely this is a great time to enjoy mobile games. With the launch of Fortnite for Android and iOS, it may be that Tencent and Blue hole will speed up the translation and bring official PUBG to the West faster.
Similar to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), Fortnite is a Battle Royale game. Up to 100 players face each other on a giant map. The differential of Fortnite is the collection and use of resources to build structures.
