In Asphalt 9: Legends, Gameloft ushered in the TouchDrive mode, an automatic steering mode. But this did not please everyone. Here’s how to disable it and go back to the old steering mode, where the player controls the car.
See how easy it is to change the Asphalt 9 controls
During the race, or in the main menu, simply go to the “Controls” option and select the “Tap to Turn” option. Thus, the controls will operate the old way, where the player controls the direction of the car.
When activating the “normal” (old) mode, to make a drift, you need to touch one side of the screen and then touch the brake. To make a “360 degree”, simply touch the brake twice.
Now, just enjoy the game with the “classic” controls, just like you did in Asphalt 8.
