Anyone who was already addicted to Durango , the Nexon survival MMORPG , will have to wait a bit longer to tour dinosaurs again. The game was released today (25) in South Korea. Unfortunately, the launch is not global. To make matters worse, the Brazilian beta has been closed and there is no return forecast in the West.
It was not a quiet release. Congested servers, slowness and connection problems marked the launch of Durango in South Korea. Developed over 4 long years, the game is one of Nexon’s biggest bets. A mixture of MMO and survival that involves dinosaurs and that has great variety of mechanics and interaction between objects.
According to the company, more than 2.5 million people have pre-registered the game. The volume of players was so great that it knocked down the servers a good deal of the time.
Durango remains unpublished in the West. Let’s hope the game will be released soon here, because the title was a huge success in Brazil, surprising Nexon during the closed beta test.
