Bandai Namco’s mobile fighting game, Dragon Ball Legends, grossed $ 40 million in global revenue on the App Store and Google Play.
According to market intelligence firm Sensor Tower, the game reached the milestone of just over a month from its release date on May 31.
Japanese players have provided most of the revenue so far with 67%, with the US accounting for the second largest with 14%.
Google Play proved to be slightly more popular for Dragon Ball Legends and reached 54% of revenue, with iOS growing 46%.
Dragon Ball Legends also ranked 21st overall on revenue charts for June and third among all applications at the top of the iPhone App Store Japanese app sales.
Just for comparison, the revenue obtained in Dragon Ball Legends in just one month is what great producers of AAA games for consoles usually earn in a half.
