Lineage 2 Revolution will finally be released in Brazil on May 9 for Android and iOS. The server BR was announced at a special event in São Paulo, which was even attended by the CEO of Netmarble. But is the wait worth it? Check out our preview of this highly anticipated MMORPG.
Big plans for Brazil
Netmarble has big plans for Lineage 2 Revolution Brasil. Depending on his success, several other games from this South Korean producer can be found in our language.
The presentation and advertisement event of the BR server show the company’s commitment to establishing a firm banner in our territory, which is home to one of the largest communities of mobile players on the planet.
History very well set
Lineage 2 Revolution did not come out of anywhere or came out of nowhere to be just another game. The Revolution story is perfectly set in the Saga Lineage universe.
Serving as a prologue to PC events, the mobile version puts the player at the center of the confrontation between the two elven races and an evil sorcerer.
The “Lore” of the game is nicely presented in breathtaking cinematic. All in Portuguese, with a timing and perfect fit, alternating between gameplay and non-interactive scenes. Lineage 2 Revolution, despite the focus on multiplayer, takes its story very seriously.
Impressive graphics even on old cell phones
I played Lineage 2 Revolution in a Lenovo Zuk Z2, device with power similar to that of a Galaxy S7. However, the game does very well with older handsets.
I say this, why I tested the game also in a tired Samsung Galaxy S4. To my surprise, the game featured beautiful graphics on that 2013 device with only 2 GB of RAM. Yes, even on the old 32-bit processor, Lineage 2 Revolution still presented a very beautiful look with various effects of lights on.
Lineage 2 Revolution brings back classic characters like Elves and Black Elves, humans and dwarves. The look can be changed (but not much).
It may seem that each character is closely linked to a class, but not quite so. There are three main classes (Warrior, Ladino and Mystic) that can be subdivided into two more classes.

Is it true that Lineage 2 Revolution “plays alone”?
One of the most controversial points of Lineage 2 Revolution is its mechanics of automatic missions. Through it, the game practically “plays itself”.
Yes, that is fact. The automatic mode is strong in this game and can dominate the single player experience if the player decides to only play to play alone.
But in battles against bosses, who need extra help from other players, you can not count on the automatic mode. And in PvP it does not help too much.
Many people criticized, and criticizes the game, having played only minutes. The players are right. For those who are starting in the game, the automatic mode takes away the brightness of things, which return to be interesting only days later.
Multiplayer for all tastes
Undoubtedly, the star of the game is Castle Siege (Castle Control) mode. The player must enter a guild of up to 50 members, and face epic wars of up to 200 players at the same time (4 clans facing each other at the same time).
As if that were not enough there are colossal bosses that require the interaction of up to 100 players to be able to defeat him. As stated above, the best part of the game is in multiplayer modes and in interaction with other players.
Killing the homesickness of Lan-houses
Who is older and spent afternoons and later playing Lineage in Lan-houses listening to power metal will enjoy very Lineage 2 Revolution. The return of classic characters, that sensation of adventure, a giant world to discover, the new game mobile brings it all.
Answering the title question, it was worth waiting for Lineage 2 Revolution. Do not worry too much about the automatic systems, they can all be easily disabled. The important thing is to have fun in a free game and that surely will make many fans of the old get excited.
