The Creative Destruction map (Android, iOS, and PC) has been restyled in a “New Classic Mode”. The option requires a further 900 MB download and the result is a map much more beautiful than the original, but that should only run on smartphones and PCs more powerful.
The Valley of the Aurora has never been so beautiful. Creative Destruction walks to a position where it seems to be compatible with many cell phones intermediaries, but that does not want to make ugly against competitors like Fortnite.
See the comparison between places on the map in its normal version and in the improved version. The images were printed on the PC version.
You can see that the character model is literally the same, but the modeling of the scenarios and objects on the new map has more polygons and details, something that would weigh heavily on less powerful phones.
The solution found by NetEase is interesting, as it is as if Creative Destruction had two versions within the same game. One version with better graphics and another “lite”. Anyone who wants to save battery can play on the traditional map and who wants a visually more pleasant experience, can play on the new map.
