Cool huh?! LG Signs Screen Patent Covering almost 100% of the Body of the Device

Certainly, one of the features that have come to stay in this new generation of smartphones is the coveted and stylish design of screens without borders. Over time we have seen companies try to get away from the edges in several different ways, and apparently, LG is also intending to use a unique design.

In a recent patent publication, the South Korean giant may have revealed the possibility of a possible future device with a screen with a large proportion when compared to the body of the device. Follow the image.

As we can see, the same registered the patent of a large screen with a design that most probably should cover almost completely the front of a smartphone. The most curious thing is that we can note that LG opted for a different solution to accommodate the call speaker.

Recently we have seen that many manufacturers have adopted the famous notch at the top of the screen that was popularized by the iPhone X, however, unlike Apple, LG chose to add a small hole in the top that will surely accommodate the speaker but it is unclear whether it will also serve the selfie camera.

It is interesting to mention that the company is already rehearsing large displays on their devices, just look at the models V30s ThinQ and LG G6, which can mark a kick-off company for this modern and popular style of screen.

However, the document appearing in the patent images does not reveal much of the data. That is, we do not know information as dimensions or even if this display will belong to other companies’ devices, since it is worth remembering that LG develops screens for several different companies, including for Apple.
