Earlier we posted a list of the 20 finalists for the Google Play Indie Games Festival award. Turns out that list was one of the finalists in the United States. By email, Google sent us the 15 finalists from Latin America.

From Brazil we have representatives: Mini Ini Mo – Gilp Adventure Headwash, Overdrive Shake Ninja, Rockhead Games Starlit Archery Club and Countryside Games Westy West. The latter we talked about it here on the site.
All finalists will participate in the final event that will take place at the Google Campus São Paulo, where a juror bank will choose the 3 winners. The event is free and open to the public. Interested parties can apply here.
The jury that will analyze the games will be composed by Evelyn Vallejons,Youtubers Argentina Evelyn Vallejons, director of the studio Etermax (from the game Asked); Moonlit Beshimov, Google Play Games development manager; Sandro Manfredini, business director of Aquiris Game Studio, and Pablo Miyazawa, editor-in-chief of IGN Brazil.
The Festival was launched in November 2017 with the goal of identifying, showing and rewarding indie talent in Latin America. “We were impressed with the innovation and creativity that independent developers in the region have to offer. Selecting just 15 finalists was a big challenge, “said Daniel Trócoli, Google Play Games’ Latin America Partnerships manager.
The three winners will receive prizes such as Android TV and prominent positioning for a month in the special indie games section of Google Play.
