PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has already completed its first year of life. The title that popularized the games of “Battle Royale” so fashionable now began its adventures as an early access game in March 2017 and now, to celebrate this milestone, its managers have wanted to show a brief preview of the next map of PUBG.
During GDC 2018, PUBG creator Brendan Greene and executive producer Chang Han Kim have posted a thank-you video for the entire PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds community of players. In this video, among other things, a preview of the new map of PUBG is shown, a more tropical cut map inspired by Southeast Asia, which will have a smaller size than the two previous maps of the game. You can take a look at this map in the following video:

To be more precise, the new PUBG map will measure a total of 16 square kilometers (4×4 km) with a smaller size than the other maps, which measure 64 square kilometers (8×8 km). This will make the next map of the game an ideal scenario to live games ” much more intense “, as described by Greene himself, given its small size. The map will be available on the test servers of the PC version next April.
In any case, we remind you that PUBG is available both on PC and Xbox One, in the latter as an early access game, and that was recently published on our lands in an official way PUBG Mobile, the game version for iOS and Android. If you want to know much more about the game, we leave you with the analysis of the Game Preview version of Xbox One, as well as with our PUBG guide.
