PUBG Mobile (or official)
The phenomenon created by Brendan Greene, Playerunknown, has just officially arrived on mobile phones. Playerunknown’s Mobile Battlegrounds is the almost perfect recreation of PC gaming and consoles.
Up to 100 players will face each other on the classic Erangel map. Weapons, characters, everything almost equal to the “bigger” version. However, the mobile version is more receptive. In the beginning, for example, the player will find more bots that in addition to complement the game, make the game at the beginning easier and accessible for beginners.
Fortnite (the official)
Fortnite is in tests on iOS, but the beta will start soon also on Android. The version of Fortnite for mobile is not an adaptation, it is the same game, same engine and everything. According to the producer, the game will receive the same updates from the PC and consoles.
In iOS, the game is perfect with stunning graphics. The only visible differential is just a hoop that indicates shots and steps, so when you play without headphones.
For those who do not know, Fortnite is the most played game of the moment. The game is clearly inspired by PUBG, but brings a new and creative approach. The player can build structures to defend himself, or pitfalls for his opponents.
Free Fire (the “light”)
Free Fire is the game in the most played “Battlegrounds” style of smartphones. That’s it! There’s no point in official games being released when most players have smartphones with low processing power.
Because of this, Free Fire offers a game very close to competitors, but can be played even on cell phones with 1 GB of RAM.
Best of all, the community has embraced the game. Even featuring lower graphics, Free Fire is guaranteed fun. As it is quite light, it is possible to play for hours, without worrying about battery.
FortCraft (the clone)
NetEase is the company most engaged in offering an experience similar to that of PUBG and Fortnite. So much so that she has released several Battle Royale-style games.
We put FortCraft here, even though the game is only testing on Android, because its gameplay is exceptional. The game is very reminiscent of the Epic game, with its cartoon style and construction mechanics.
The downside is that it is heavy (for now), the producer is working to let it light, and turn it into an alternative for those with weak cell phones. Just as Free Fire turned to those who have smartphones with 1 GB of RAM.
Rules of Survival (or mod)
How this game has changed. If you do not remember it, Rules of Survival is actually a Terminator 2 game mode, released in China in 2017.
It was the first NetEase game to have a Battle Royale mode. Remains of this can still be found in some buildings, ships and the title screen that brings a character dressed as the t-800 robot, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Rules of Survival is beautiful, but does not leave out the “furniture”. It’s a game with personality. The shooting is not committed to being as accurate and calibrated as PUBG’s. It’s more of a casual game to have fun and not take so seriously.
Knives Out (the futuristic)
Knives Out is from the same company as Rules of Survival. However, it was built from scratch to be the production’s best Battle Royale.
If Rules of Survival is more “casual”, Knives Out is the game for those looking for a more hardcore game. Its main attractions are the sharpest look and alloy system that makes you play with ever better players. Another highlight is a drone that can be unlocked at match and allows you to locate enemies from a distance.
The twin brother Survival Royale, is also recommended.
Hopeless Land (the helicopter)
One against 120. Thus, Hopeless Land: Fight for Survival holds the highest amount of character in an arena. I said characters. After all, it is not known what bots or humans are.
The system is the same as PUBG. The differential here are the vehicles. In Hopeless there are even helicopters that can be used by your squad. Look how fun!
Last Battlegrounds (or casual)
Last Battlegrounds is that kind of game that was released there in 2017, well before competitors and PUBG arrive on the mobile. But even with competitors doing better, the game has not lost its sparkle and caters to people who have basic or intermediate smartphone.
The highlight of Last Battlegrounds is shorter matches, ideal for those who just want to play and not spend 20 to 40 minutes in a match. There are only 40 players (only real players) in a match. Each match lasts about 5 to 10 minutes. The game is also very lightweight, weighing only 80 MB.
And those were the best Battle Royale games for Android and iPhone. Missing any? What’s your favorite? Leave a comment!
