April Fool’s Day 2018: The Best April 1st Jokes

April Fool's Day 2018: The Best April 1st Jokes

The whole year is the same. Google and other Internet giants create services, tools, and products to trick us and make everyone fall into the day of lies. We do not believe it anymore but love a joke. See the best jokes of 2018.

Where’s wally?

The Google Maps team tends to make the most complex jokes – usually playable games on the map – – and this year is an integration with Where’s Wally? Waldo, as he is known abroad, is traveling the world with his friends Wenda, Woof, Wizard Whitebeard and Odlaw. To travel with him, all you have to do is find him. The feature will be available all week on Android, iOS and desktop (make sure you have the latest version of the app or go to google.com/maps on your computer).

To start, press play when you see Wally waving at you from the side of your screen or ask “Hey Google, where’s Waldo?”. It also works with Google Assistant on your phone and Chromebook.

Find your Hommus

I love Hommus, but did you know there are many different types of hommus? And that not everyone likes the same hommus? This is a serious problem, you will say. Google wants to organize the world’s information and the hommus is no exception. What better way than having a Hummus API? He analyzes his taste using Google’s “advanced artificial intelligence algorithm,” creating “a large hummus data store” stored in the Google Cloud using a “machine learning model” to deal with smart vision and taste.

Detective of bad jokes

The Files Go team has decided they want to do more than free up space on their phone. Instead of just removing useless files and old apps, Files Go will now delete all bad jokes inadvertently received from friends and family members in your WhatsApp groups and the like. The Bad Joke Detector uses a “deep neural network personalized” to identify the bad jokes in your phone, which you can delete with a single touch.
